Baby Bump Style Week

I’m so excited to introduce a fun new week on Style By Patty. Lately, throughout the Twitterverse and Instagram I’ve noticed an emerging trend among my favorite fashion bloggers, THE BABY BUMP! These ladies are chic, fashion savvy, mamas to be that are rocking some serious baby bump style. Since I’ve been admiring their baby bump style for a while now, I thought it would be fitting to name this week baby bump style week.

My first guest blogger is Rachel from the fashion blog The Rachel Ross who shares her adorable baby bump style for the very important date night!

The best part about being pregnant is planning a babymoon… even if you don’t get to take one! ha When I was pregnant with Charlotte I went on a mini babymoon with my parents to Florida. The way people would look at a young pregnant woman wearing a bikini was amusing, at least to me. This time around my husband and I are planning another quick baby moon, even if it’s a few nights as close as Atlantic City. I’m looking forward to relaxing, and more importantly, dressing up for some fancy dinners!

I plan on wearing this outfit for a spicy little date night! The dress is from Urban Outfitters, last year. I bought it at the end of the season, before I knew I was pregnant, and then it got too cold too quickly to wear it.Thankfully it works well with my bump! I love finding pieces like this that I can invest in and wear pregnant or not, major score! I was instantly attracted to the cross-over pattern and slit in the skirt. It’s not exactly a midi, or high-low cut, it’s a fun combination of both which I like.

To add some flare to the outfit I’m going to throw on this necklace to match my cuff. My favorite thing about this necklace is that it’s actually a 3-in1. You can wear both pieces, as seen here, or just the choker, or just long necklace. So versatile! So worth the money.

Until next time, kisses!

Rachel

Thank you to Rachel for taking the time out of her busy mommy schedule to share her baby bump style with us. Make sure you follow her on like…everything and stay tuned for more baby bump style week to come!
