Casual For The Holidays

We are just one week away from Christmas and I couldn’t be more excited! After not being home for almost two years (and by home, home, I mean Toronto, Canada) Hubby, Pup and I will be driving up to see my family and friends for the holidays.

Which brings me to the ever so important question, “What am I gonna wear?”. I know I talked about stylish, holiday party looks with my guest bloggers on Latina Blogger Week but I wanted to talk about casual for the holidays. I’m more focused on the laid back, hanging out with friends who have seen you at your best and worst (and by best I mean in my best outfits during our clubbing days and my worst I mean my overalls, velvet chokers and over drawn eye brows, don’t you miss the 90’s?) LOL!!! (This is applying to my most amazing friends Ida and Christine.)

So when I went out shopping the other day, I wandered into Express (they were having killer sales) and found a couple sweaters I can totally feel comfortable and stylish in for my casual holiday gatherings.

I can't remember where I got this fun, sparkly ring from but it has enough sparkle to make it perfect for the holidays.
