I was recently out around town looking at trends in the DMV area and I came across a shop that was literally right under my nose. Fornash Inc. is a jewelry and accessories boutique that set up its permanent location in the Ballston Common Mall in Arlington, VA. I’m a huge accessories nut and my husband could tell you *I may or may not be an accessories hoarder* so I decided to go in and check it out. It’s a beautiful store with all types of accessories a girl could ever want or realize “OOH, I DO NEED THAT”.
Alexis the retail manager was so sweet and gracious to let me take a few pictures of items I think are must haves for anyone looking to spruce up their accessories for spring/summer 2013. Thank you Alexis!
I love bright colors and I think we should all live in color, especially in spring/summer. On the left we have the Triple Candy necklace, in the middle we have the Nantucket Necklace (Pink) which has become one of their best sellers. On the right we have Long Chole necklaces that have a touch of soft elegance.
Alexis told me that most of the pieces are designed and made in the store by the designer Stephanie Fornash Kennedy. One of her most successful creations are the gecko patterned enamel bangles (top picture). They were featured in Oprah Magazine’s “The O List” and they continue to be one of her best sellers! The earrings are also a Fornash original and the rings are the brand’s official colors. Love hearing local design talent doing so well!
Fornash is also designing other accessories like beautiful two tone colored wraps that are perfect for a cool night on the town. Equestrian scarves that add a extra something to a blazer or evening coat.
I obviously couldn’t resist and had to buy a couple of bracelets for myself, surprise surprise 😉
Leather bracelet with gold lock and green leather cuff.
I had a wonderful time in the store and basically lived the dream of an accessory junky by marveling at all the great pieces. I hope you make the trip to Arlington to check out Fornash or check them out online at Fornash.com.
A BIG THANK YOU to Alexis and Fornash for letting me take these pictures and for being so nice!
