A couple weeks ago I posted about wedding anniversaries and that the 3rd anniversary is considered the “Leather Anniversary“. Our anniversary was on Saturday (August 17th) and we went to the lovely Smith and Wollensky for a delicious dinner. Then wobbled back home (bottle of wine with dinner) to exchange leather gifts.
My hubby did so good! LOL I was surprised to see he got me a lovely leather purse from the ever so gorgeous Dooney & Bourke. The red color is trey perfect for fall and it’s the type of cross body bag I had been searching for for the fall season.
It was my turn to give my hubby his leather gift. I got him a leather strap watch from Fossil and also threw in a girly one for myself lol. I wanted him to have a classic looking watch and knew this was the perfect one for him. I saw my watch and said “It’s brown-ish, it will match his *also cause it was sparkly* 🙂
We had a lovely anniversary this weekend and were both really happy with our leather gifts.
I researched the appropriate gifts for the 4th wedding anniversary and they are: Fruit, Flowers, Appliances, Linen, Silk, Nylon, Blue Topaz. Hmm I see a bouquet of flowers, EDIBLE ARRANGEMENT, fancy appliances and sexy silk and nylon things LOL.
We will just have to wait and see 😉
