New Orleans Style

This past weekend my husband and I look a mini vacay to New Orleans. I’d never been before so I wasn’t sure what to expect from the famous city but I have to say, it’s now one of my favorite cities. Even through the rainy weather, you couldn’t deny the beautiful architecture and allure New Orleans has to offer. Every turn you take, every new street you come across has something beautiful to admire and of course, take a picture of.

We came across this amazing location in a very industrial area of New Orleans and all I saw was beautiful art, vibrancy and oh yes, it matched my Sunday brunch outfit. A perfect match of New Orleans Style.

On my last post I talked about my staple colors for fall and among them was magenta and teal.

I got this magenta, silk, Rebecca Minkoff blazer at The Cottage Shop thrift store in Houston and it’s been my bright splash of color in my fall wardrobe.

The teal “Racquel” clutch is from the amazing brand Jacksons Runaway who I have loved and supported for a very long time. They are also responsible for my favorite clutch I can’t live without, the Tangerine, Mallory envelope clutch.

I’m happy to say we fell in love with New Orleans and can’t wait to go back.

Have you ever been to New Orleans? What’s your favorite place to visit? Any suggestions we should check out next time we go back?

Ps. I didn’t want to leave the location and now have this idea to design a wall in my house just like these walls so I have a permanent place to shoot outfit pictures LOL. A girl can dream right?
