Tweed Is A Must For Fall

Whether you wear tweed in a high end manner or with a simple pair of  jeans, what is common sense among all fashionistas is that tweed is a must for fall! It’s warm, gives you a well structured piece of clothing during the colder months, will make you look like a classy lady and most importantly, you can’t help but think of the woman who made tweed so symbolic in fashion, Coco Chanel.

It was around November last year and I was at Target looking for a dress for an event and came across this fabulous tweed from the Kirna Zabete collection. The dress was magically sitting upon the sale items waiting for me to buy it. I love this tweed because it brings together your basic fall colors, can be paired with cotton leggings, over dress shirts or even cardigans so you stay extra warm.

On one of my many trips to Goodwill *accompanying my husband who lives to discover things in Goodwill* I came across this tweed jacket that begged for me to take it home. It was for a good cause so of course I did lol. I wanted to give the tweed blazer a different vibe so I paired it with some Boyfriend Jeans from Old Navy and a simple white V-neck top.

It was really hot out when I took those pics and these tweed pieces were quite toasty, so I’m very certain they will keep me warm come fall.

Whether it’s fancy Chanel or Target finds, tweed is a must for fall.

Happy “Project Runway” Thursday!
