You know those beautiful days that remind you of a time you were in that place long ago? Well that was Sunday for me. It took me back to walking around Seoul, South Korea and wandering into different markets like the artist market in the Insadong area. I started looking through old pictures and I came across pics of the first time I was in this artist market. I walked aimlessly into different stores, entry ways and down flights of stairs I had no idea where they would take me to and then I came across this amazing little spot.
Seeing these old pictures brought me back to my time in Korea and was my inspiration from the Seoul for mani Monday! And yes, those are baskets of every kind nailed onto the wall!
It wasn’t until my husband was taking pictures of my nails that he said “Oh, you used ROYGBV” lol I said “what’s that?” and he explained red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and I went “ohhhhhhhhhhhhh” lol. I used a cuticle pusher to dab the colored dots on the yellow base and a clear top coat of Sally Henson fast dry.
Kinda makes me happy that every time I look down at my nail designs this week it’ll remind me of that time in that place so long ago.
