There’s No Place Like Home!

After spending a quick four days in my home town of Toronto Canada, truly, there’s no place like home! It was my first time home in over a year and boy did those 4 days fly by. Got in Thursday and that evening had a long over due girl’s night with my two best friends who watched me walk down the aisle almost 3 years ago. Friday another day of breakfasts and dinners with warm familiar faces and then Saturday the big day, well my friend Ginge’s big day.

That morning I needed a little pampering and went and got my hair done at Civello salon on Queen St. As always, I walked out of there extremely happy to have the bangs I’ve always wanted, the length I worked so hard to keep and a fresh look for the wedding. Thank you master stylist Dylan! Can you tell I’m ok with my new hair?!

Off to the wedding I went and I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. Ginge looked so beautiful in her dress and was just beaming with so much happiness. It was an experience that was worth every penny, connecting flight and border crossing to be a part of. Her dress was absolutely beautiful and the groom looked like the happiest most handsomest man on earth…besides my husband of course, ha ha!

Next thing I knew it was Sunday morning and back to Washington, DC I went. Back to my home away from home to my hubby and puppy. As fast as my time home went it, I’m so grateful that every minute was spent with the family and friends I love and miss so much! Dorthy said it best “there’s no place like home”.
